Mound Cemetery Mound, Minnesota
(also known as Mound Union Cemetery, and Union Cemetery)
Mound Cemetery is located west of the City of Mound on County Road 110 (Bartlett Blvd.). The lower portion of the cemetery is on relatively flat land, but the western part of the cemetery is on a hill. It is atop this hill were several of my ancestors are buried.
The City of Mound is located on the western shores of scenic Lake Minnetonka in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Minnetrista Township, where several of my ancestors lived, is just north of town. The Jennings Bay portion of the very large Lake Minnetonka, was named after my ancestors that moved here from Pennsylvania when Minnesota was still a Territory.
